  • Book a tour here for any of our locations. Just choose a time in the diary that works for you and we will confirm with an email and even send you a reminder. 

  • Yes absolutely. You can book coworking space by the day, as and when needed. Simply select your location and choose a Day Pass, Private Day Office or Meeting Room from the For the Day options.

  • Once you have chosen your space and where you want to work you can sign up online. Select your space, how you want to work and sign up is easy.

  • As an unlimited coworking or private office member, you are able to drop in at any of our coworking spaces. Simply check-in with reception when you arrive.

  • All 5, 10 Day, Unlimited and Fixed desk memberships include access to all shared amenities, member events, activities and discounts, and access to break-out spaces. 

  • All spaces are open 24/7 and anyone with a membership may access the space anytime. Day bookings may only access the space from 9 to 5pm.

  • If you have an unlimited, fixed desk or private office membership, you can bring guests in for meetings from time to time in the meeting rooms or informal lounge areas.  Our membership team will sign them in when they arrive. Guests are not allowed to work in your office for the day – if you would like to arrange this, please book a day pass for them.

  • All Spacemade spaces are dog-friendly. Your furry friend is always welcome and we have dedicated pooch corners with water bowls and treats. Please keep in mind that not everyone loves your dog as much as you do so please keep them with you at all times.

  • Yes we have printing machines available and you may print what you need for free within reason.

  • Yes, our spaces are open 24/7. Please note, outside the usual times, there will be no community team on-site and reduced amenities.

  • Once you are a member you will be onboarded onto the Spacemade Member’s Portal and download the Spacemade APP. You will either access the space using a fob or card which will be issued to you or with cardless access using the APP. Your community manager will explain this process to you when you register.

     

  • Yes! It’s the best of both worlds. A flexible work space that feels like home, but you can work when and how you want to without the hassle of long term leases and running costs. You also have access to a community of like-minded individuals and businesses.

  • Spacemade has a variety of private meeting rooms across the UK. Perfect if you need to get your team together to collaborate or for client presentations.

  • Yes, Spacemade offers a referral reward programme. If you successfully refer a friend who signs up you will receive Amazon Voucher rewards.

  • No memberships may not be shared.  Each person must make their own bookings or sign up for their own membership. 

  • While we cannot pause your membership, it is simple to cancel if you need to – there are no long-term commitments.

  • To cancel your membership please get in touch with your community manager. There are no long-term commitments, you can simply terminate at the end of any calendar month providing you have given 30 days’ written notice.

Offices

  • A private office is your your own private, fully serviced office or studio for your team to focus and collaborate. Ideal for small and growing teams of 2-20. Perfect if you need your own space but still want to be part of a dynamic community. Private offices include unlimited access to the coworking space, all amenities, breakout space and common areas.   • You can book an office by the day, as and when needed. Use the widget on the homepage here to Find your Perfect Space, choose your location and a “For the Day” office.

  • Yes, you can absolutely make the space your own. We will discuss all your plans with you and make sure everything is approved before move-in day.

  • A private office is your own private, fully serviced office, perfect if you need your own space but still want to be part of a dynamic community. Private offices include unlimited access to the coworking space, all amenities, breakout space and common areas. No long leases, no running costs, no additional service fees. Everything is included in your agreement.

  • Your community management team will make sure that all mail and packages delivered are placed in a central pick up location or handed directly to you.

  • You will find after hours contact numbers available on your notice board in the space or on the App.

  • The spaces will be open 24/7 however the community management teams will not be in on public/bank holidays.

  • Spacemade’s refrigerators are cleaned out weekly in order to keep them organized and clean. If you want to leave anything in the fridge please make sure you leave a sticky note with your name on it asking that it be kept in the fridge. Anything not labelled will be removed on Fridays.

  • Please inform your community management team so that this can be replaced for you subject to a replacement fee.

  • Please report anything concerning directly to your community management team or contact us through the member portal on the app.

  • We prefer our pet’s to have fur and are 100% dog-friendly, but please keep your fish tanks, lizards, snakes and hamsters at home.

  • Please report any maintenance required directly with your community management team on site.

  • Our spaces are cleaned daily.

  • This is possible depending on the office location. Show us your plans and if approved, it’s a go.

  • We make sure that our buildings are heated and cooled as effectively as possible for all members using the space. Most of the offices are included in the building schedule. Some offices have separate temperature control units, but this depends on which building the space is located in.

Important Stuff

  • What is Spacemade’s cancellation policy?

    • Hot Desk Membership/Fixed Desk – You can terminate your membership at the end of any calendar month providing you have given 30 days’ written notice. E.g. if you give notice on 15th January your termination will be at the end of February. You can continue to access the space up until your termination date even if you have served notice.
    • Private Office – Subject to the terms and conditions set out in the License agreement.
    • Meeting Rooms – You can cancel meeting room bookings providing you have given a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to the Community Manager or in writing to Spacemade. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the booking will be charged in full.

     

    What are my payment options?

    When completing your membership or booking, you can either pay by debit/credit card or you can setup a Direct Debit. All future payments will be taken on due date via the payment method you have chosen.

     

    Where can I update my payment settings?

    To update your details please do so on the member’s portal.

     

    Where can I change my contact details?

    To update your details please do so on the member’s portal.

     

    Where can I view my invoices?

    You will be emailed a copy of your invoices. You can also view invoices on our member’s portal.

     

    When will I receive my invoice and when is it due?

    The first invoice will be sent to you when you sign up to a membership/Private Office or purchase a product or meeting room booking. First invoices are due immediately and payment will be taken via your chosen payment method.

     

    If you are purchasing a membership or Private Office, and your start date is before 15th of the month and you will be invoiced for the period from your start date to the end of the calendar month.

    If you join after 15th of the month you will be invoiced for the period from your start date to the end of the following calendar month. So for example, you join on the 19th of the month, so your first invoice will be for 11/12 days remaining in that month plus the full month thereafter.

     

     

  • Does Spacemade comply with all UK laws on health and safety?

    Yes

     

    Are there health and safety risk assessments of the space?

    Yes, yearly assessments on record incl legionella where applicable. 

     

    Who is the designated health and safety contact for the space?

    The Community Manager and Head of Operations are your contacts.

     

    Are there people in the space with first aid training or knowledge?

    Yes, all Spacemade Operations staff are First Aid trained as well as a number of HQ team members. 

     

    To who would a user of the space go if they felt they were being discriminated against or harassed?

    Please inform your Community Manager or call us on 020 4512 6562.

  • Does Spacemade meet all local employment laws and regulations in the UK?

    Yes absolutely.

     

    Does Spacemade employ anyone under the age of 18?

    No.

     

    Does Spacemade pay all employees and contractors in compliance with the minimum standards by UK law?

    Yes.

     

    Does Spacemade pay living wage for all employees and contractors?

    Yes.

     

    What is the ethics policy that all employees and contractors must adhere to?

    Ethics policy is available in the employee handbook and also part of the supplier vetting process.

  • How do I connect to the WiFi at Spacemade?
    Unique member log in details are sent in your welcome email, please follow the two steps to get yourselves online, guest wifi is also available for your visitors, this only lasts for 24 hours. Details are in the welcome pack and available from our Community team.

    How do visitors and guests connect to the WiFi?
    Guest wifi is available, details are site-specific and available from the Community Manager.

    How do I reset my password?
    Via the online member portal ‘forgot password’ feature.

    How do I connect to a TV in a meeting room?
    Step-by-step details are available in your welcome pack and on the display screen of the room in question.

    How do I print?
    Each of our buildings has its own instructions – please speak to your Community Manager during the onboard process (or the next time you would like to print) to assist you to connect in a few easy steps.

    Can I bring my own servers and printers in?
    Yes, you can, additional IT fees may be applicable depending on your requests.

     

    How do I access the space using the Spacemade APP?

    For our locations where access via mobile is available, members will automatically get Salto registration details sent on the day the membership activates. Please register your details using the same credentials as to where the email was sent and then, once created via the Spacemade App, on the manage account page, connect your profile to Salto. In order to use the feature, Bluetooth has to be on. 

     

    I am having trouble connecting to a meeting room TV, what do I do?

    Our lovely community team is always available for any troubleshooting.

     

    How do I order a VLAN or telephone line?

    We are more than happy to assist you, please notify the Sales Manager looking after you as soon as possible in order for us to present the best options back to you. 

     

    Does my office come with phones?

    Not as standard,  (Park House yes).

     

    What is Spacemade’s internet speed in the building?

    1Gb/ 1Gb primary line and 100Mb/ 1GB backup.

  • What assessments/reports of the environmental impact of its business activities do we record?

    Monthly and quarterly cleaning reports including waste management statistics are in place for our Operations team to review.

     

    Do you use renewable energy?

    All our energy suppliers are between 75%-10% renewable.

     

    Is there a recycling programme in place?

    Yes.
