IT Manager – Workplace
Do you want to be the first IT hire where you can put your tech management skills to the test in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Look no further than our start-up for coworking/flex working offices! We’re seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team and take charge of our technology infrastructure, ensuring that our systems run smoothly and efficiently as we continue to grow and expand. If you’re a hands-on problem solver with a passion for staying ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving world of IT with ambitions to grow as we do, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- As our IT Manager, you will be responsible for owning and maintaining our technology stack, ensuring that it operates at peak performance and remains secure.
- You’ll be the driving force behind the rollout of new locations and the adoption of new software and systems, managing bespoke IT requirements for our enterprise members and ensuring that our key IT suppliers deliver on their promises.
- Your expertise in IT change and upgrade projects will be essential to ensuring that new services are introduced effectively, with appropriate monitoring, metrics, and support in place.
- With your help, we’ll be able to manage risks, approve changes, and plan releases effectively, protecting our services and our clients’ data.
- And as our cyber security strategy continues to evolve, you’ll play a key role in developing and building it out, ensuring that our systems and data remain safe and secure at all times.
Success in this role will be measured by the number of successful new location launches with minimal tech issues and a reduction in troubleshooting issues across our estate.
Qualifications and Skills:
- While a background in coworking/shared office space is beneficial, it’s not essential, although some experience in commercial property infrastructure is preferred.
- You’ll have some experience supporting Hubspot, Google Workspace, and Nexudus, but you’ll be comfortable learning new systems and software as needed.
- With experience in service management and customer-facing roles in the startup and scale-up scene, you’ll be well-equipped to handle the fast-paced, ever-changing demands of our industry.
- You’ll have experience of Service Introduction and Delivery Management in a multi-supplier, outsourced environment, and a proven track record of continuous service improvement.
- You’ll be an excellent communicator, able to translate technical information into business language and vice versa, and you’ll have a talent for building effective working relationships with customers, peers, and external providers.
- With a proactive, forward-thinking approach and a long-term strategic focus, you’ll be passionate about innovation and technology, and eager to stay ahead of the curve in this exciting and dynamic field.
